The ThreatMetrix Gaming and Gambling Cybercrime Report is based on actual cybercrime attacks in Q2 2018 that were detected by the ThreatMetrix Digital Identity Network during real-time analysis and interdiction of fraudulent online payments, logins and new account applications.
Report Highlights Include:
- 91M transactions among gaming and gambling organizations were analyzed in the quarter
- Nearly 60% of all gaming and gambling traffic is cross-border
- 71% of all gaming and gambling transactions are made via mobile devices
- Identity spoofing is the most prevalent attack vector
