SAN JOSE, California – (December 21, 2016)
ThreatMetrix®, The Digital Identity Company®, today announced the expansion of its flagship Digital Identity Summit into three new global locations in 2017: Hong Kong (April 6), London (June 12-13) and San Francisco (September 18-20). Registration is now open for all three Digital Identity Summit 2017 events, which will bring together thought leaders from around the world to discuss innovations in protecting digital identity and combating fraud.
This year’s theme, the Currency of Trust, will explore one of the most critical issues facing digital businesses today. Today’s digital economy relies upon fast-paced and cross-border digital transactions. With web-based anonymity and ever-rising instances of sophisticated cybercrime, a pivotal factor in a thriving digital economy is establishing trusted identities and behavior online. The digital economy is dependent on the currency of trust.
The seventh annual summit will feature industry experts and senior risk, fraud and security thought leaders. Past presenters and panelists include former National Security Agency chief, GEN (Ret) Keith Alexander, plus speakers from eBay, Gartner, Lloyds Banking Group, Netflix, Standard Chartered, Visa, Walmart and Yandex.Money. Whether coming from leading e-commerce companies, financial institutions or government entities, attendees will benefit from personal interactions with executives and practitioners who have recognized that fighting fraud and cybercrime in the digital age requires new technologies and new ways of thinking.
“The Digital Identity Summit brings together the sharpest minds in the industry to address how digital businesses can thrive in today’s economy by understanding and leveraging trusted identities,” said ThreatMetrix CMO Armen Najarian. “The global event series represents an opportunity to share intelligence, to network and to learn from like-minded peers and thought leaders across the digital identity landscape.”
The Digital Identity Summit APAC in Hong Kong will feature prominent speakers from across the region, and will be hosted by former television news anchor for Cable TV and HKTV, Caca Lam. The Digital Identity Summit EMEA in London, will be hosted by award-winning television news journalist Geoff White, who reports for Channel 4 News on emerging tech security and e-crime stories.
