Fastest Growing Cloud-Based Provider of Fraud Prevention Solutions Generates 30% of Its Revenue from International Customers
LOS ALTOS, CA. – January 11, 2011 – ThreatMetrix™, the fastest growing cloud-based provider of fraud prevention solutions that do not require personally identifiable information (PII), today announced the opening of a European headquarters in The Hague, The Netherlands to provide service, support and sales to meet the growing demand for its fraud prevention solutions.

• Developed a European Data Center: In 2010, ThreatMetrix opened a European data center in the United Kingdom to provide faster and more accurate fraud screening. Top European e-commerce, travel, Web 2.0 and payments companies now make up 25% of the millions of daily transactions flowing through the global ThreatMetrix Fraud Network. Many of ThreatMetrix’s customers conduct business in real-time, making it imperative the ThreatMetrix Fraud Network service quickly identifies fraudulent devices, transactions and anomalies so they can make a safe “go, no-go decision.”
• Achieved European Safe Harbor Certification: In 2010 ThreatMetrix was certified as compliant with the United States – European Union (EU) Safe Harbor Framework. The Safe Harbor Framework was developed by the European Union and the United States to bridge the different approaches to privacy. This certification reconfirms ThreatMetrix’ ongoing commitment to protect the privacy of individuals in Europe, the U.S. and wherever ThreatMetrix conducts business around the globe.
• Signed on European Resellers: ThreatMetrix has signed a variety of European reseller agreements for regional representation, including those with ExperCash (Germany) and with Athena Global Services (France).
